The USF Health BRIDGE Clinic is a student-founded and student-run free clinic established in 2007 to serve uninsured adults in underserved communities. In 2021-2022, there were 711 patient visits, 6,170 total volunteer hours logged with 1,096 of those from licensed healthcare providers, providing an estimated value of $464,885 in services. In addition to the service provided to their patients, the students’ work resulted in scholarly activity to include seven poster and three oral presentations at scientific meetings and the publication of two manuscripts. The clinic relies heavily on philanthropic support from the community.
