Distinguished Physician Alumni Awards
The Distinguished Physician Alumnus Awards are bestowed by the USF Health Morsani College of Medicine Alumni Society to recognize outstanding career achievement.
Two categories of distinguished career achievement will be awarded:
- The Distinguished Physician Alumni Award in Academics acknowledges outstanding leadership, professional achievement, and contribution to the field of medicine.
- The Distinguished Physician Alumni Award in Service (formerly the Outstanding Service Award) acknowledges outstanding leadership, philanthropy, community and humanitarian service.
Early Career Achievement Awards
The Early Career Achievement Awards acknowledge MD or resident alumni within 15 years post medical college graduation and recognize early career achievement.
Two categories of outstanding early career achievement will be awarded:
- The Early Career Achievement Award in Academics acknowledges outstanding career advancement in scientific or academic medicine with outstanding performance in at least two of its three missions: research, education and clinical care.
- The Early Career Achievement Award in Service acknowledges outstanding commitment to the service of others in their community; locally, nationally, and/or internationally.
