Voting Season for Best Hospitals Now Underway

March 04, 2021 02:56 PM By USF Health

Dear USF Health Morsani College of Medicine Alumni:

Every year, the U.S. News and Report (USN&WR) physician survey assesses which hospitals are among the best at providing care for complex or challenging conditions. Voting is now underway and available to board-certified physicians registered with Doximity to nominate the best hospital in their specialty.

These scores contribute to the final USN&WR Best Hospitals speciality ranks, helping to share the national reputation of the hospitals and their affiliated medical schools, as well as patients' perceptions on where to seek care.

I hope you will participate in this time-sensitive opportunity to elevate the USF Health Morsani College of Medicine and our strong hospital partnership with Tampa General Hospital (TGH) . As graduates of our program, you know first-hand the importance your medical training has had on your career. As our reputation rises, so too does the value of your degree.

If you are a Doximity member and have received the reputation survey via email, please keep in mind USF Health's primary teaching hospital, TGH, when nominating the best hospital in your specialty area.

If you are not a Doximity member, please register for survey eligibility in the future as the reputation score accounts for 27.5% of the overall USN&WR ranking. To do so, please click here and search for your name. When prompted, fill in the appropriate fields regarding your occupation, practice location, and email.

I'd like to thank all of you who have already submitted your nominations. These rankings not only bring national prominence to your medical alma mater, but also advances health care delivery in the Tampa Bay region.

Best,

Dr. Charles Lockwood
