Dear Colleagues:
I am delighted to announce that one of our most hard-working alumni leaders, Valerie Riddle, MD ‘89, will be joining our faculty as associate dean of alumni engagement for the USF Health Morsani College of Medicine (MCOM). She will report directly to me in coordination with the USF Health Office of Development and Alumni Relations. In her new role, Dr. Riddle will help lead the strategic direction for the MCOM Alumni Society to grow connections between our alumni and students.
A dual-degree USF graduate, Dr. Riddle has spent 20 years as a physician executive, most recently leading her company, BioPharmAdvisors, in providing emerging biotechnology and pharmaceutical companies with clinical trial consulting services. She has been board certified in internal medicine and infectious diseases, and will hold a joint faculty appointment in the Department of Internal Medicine. She has been an active volunteer leader on our MCOM Alumni Society Board, USF Women in Leadership & Philanthropy, and the USF Foundation Board.
Please join me in welcoming Dr. Riddle back to USF and MCOM.
Sincerely,
Charles J. Lockwood, MD, MHCMSenior Vice President, USF Health
Dean, Morsani College of Medicine
