Attending or hosting a regional event is an excellent way to build and grow social and professional networks, remain informed about news from the dean or your peers, and show pride in your alma mater.

An Evening with the Dean

"An Evening with the Dean" is a series a regional alumni receptions designed to reach our MD alumni all over the state. Alumni from each area are invited to reconnect and network with fellow alumni and catch up on the new developments at the Morsani College of Medicine.

AAMC Orlando Morsani College of Medicine Alumni Reception

Hosted during the AAMC GIA conference, MD alumni and friends in the Orlando area gathered for a reception where they were able to reconnect with fellow alumni and hear an update on the USF Health Morsani College of Medicine and Heart Institute from Dean Dr. Lockwood.

Peanuts & Cracker Jacks with the Dean

"Peanuts and Cracker Jacks with the Dean" was a local event to engage MD alumni and get the opportunity to hear updates on the USF Health Morsani College of Medicine and Heart Institute from Dean Dr. Lockwood cheering on the USF Baseball team at their game versus UNF.

Jacksonville Area Morsani College of Medicine Reception

Medicine Alumni Regional Reception, hosted by Roger Greene, MD '87 and his wife, Nadine, at Ruth's Chris Steakhouse in Jacksonville allowed local MD alumni to reconnect with their fellow classmates. 

Spring Lecture 2019
Four-time New York Times bestselling author, Dr. David Perlmutter, spoke at the annual Spring Lecture, that nearly 100 USF Health alumni and friends attended. The lecture featured Dr. Perlmutter speaking about his new book Grain Brain and included a panel-led Q&A. A reception followed the lecture, where attendees could meet and have their books signed by Dr. Perlmutter.
