BRIDGE Clinic Volunteer Opportunity
Share |

The BRIDGE clinic, a student-run clinic, that provides medical care to people in the University area who are uninsured or living 200 percent below the poverty line, needs your help.

Clinics are held every Tuesday night at the Morsani Center on the fifth floor. There is also a clinic the last Thursday of every month at Florida Hospital on Fletcher.

The BRIDGE clinic is looking to recruit more community and/or retired physicians to volunteer at the clinic. At the clinic you will have the opportunity to work with residents, medical students, and undergraduate students. Most physicians who have volunteered in the past find this a very rewarding experience to work with medical students. At the same time, you can earn 5 hours of CME credit for volunteering. They ask that you volunteer at least 2 times.

If you are interested in learning more about the BRIDGE clinic and how you can be involved, please email Courtney Uhlar, Medical Director, BRIDGE Clinic at cuhlar@health.usf.edu.

The clinic depends on physicians like you.
