Join the Latino Medical Student Association on their annual medical mission trip!

From LMSA: On behalf of the Latino Medical Student Association (LMSA), we would like to invite you to participate in our annual medical mission trip to Jarabacoa, Dominican Republic.

Every year LMSA has the opportunity to travel to the Dominican Republic for one week to provide basic medical services to an underserved community. Since access to medical care is scarce, the services that we provide serve as both a blessing and necessity for this population with few resources.

During last year’s trip, we were able to provide acute medical care, health education, and preventative medicine to more than 1,500 patients who may have never been seen by a physician in their lifetimes. This feat could not have been possible without the helping hands of our fellow USF physicians.

There is no doubt that the success of this trip depends on contributions from physicians like you and their willingness to donate both time and services for a community in great need.

This year’s trip will take place October 1st through October 6th and consists of a three-day clinic, two traveling days, and one relaxation day. If your schedule permits, we would love for you to join us in this incredible experience in the Dominican Republic.

Please feel free to contact either of us if you have any questions about the trip. We thank you for your consideration and hope to hear from you very soon!

Saludos,
Alex Andes and Gabrielle Gostigian
